Valmont Group Commits $110,000 to Support Los Angeles Artists Impacted by Wildfires

Swiss skincare brand Valmont has announced a significant philanthropic initiative to support local artists affected by recent Los Angeles wildfires. The Guillon family, owners of Valmont, will donate $110,000 through their newly opened La Maison Valmont Beverly Hills boutique to assist artists in rebuilding their creative practices.

Didier Guillon, Valmont’s Chairman and Art Director, emphasized the importance of art during challenging times, stating that creativity serves as a powerful mechanism for healing and connection. The donation will be generated through product sales and treatments at the Rodeo Drive location.

Valmont’s artist-in-residence, Marcos Lutyens, will collaborate with the Guillon family to identify and support 11 local artists. Lutyens has also created an original illustration symbolizing the philanthropic effort, which will be displayed in the Beverly Hills boutique.

This initiative aligns with Valmont Group’s core values of supporting the intersection of art and beauty. Since establishing the Foundation Valmont in 2015, the company has been dedicated to making art accessible through international exhibitions at venues like Palazzo Bonvicini in Venice, Italy, and within their La Maison Valmont boutiques worldwide.

The Beverly Hills boutique, opened in July 2024, exemplifies the brand’s commitment to creating immersive experiences that showcase artistic and beauty elements. By supporting local artists during a challenging period, Valmont demonstrates its dedication to community resilience and creative expression.
