Atlanta Golf & Social Expands to Lee + White Development, Enhancing West End’s Entertainment Scene

Atlanta Golf & Social is set to open its second location at Lee + White, a prominent adaptive reuse development in Atlanta’s West End. The experiential sports venue, which combines indoor golf simulators and lessons in a casual sports bar setting, will occupy a 3,767-square-foot space fronting the Atlanta Westside BeltLine. This expansion marks a significant addition to the Lee + White food hall, enhancing the area’s entertainment offerings and community appeal.

The new location, scheduled to open in December 2024, joins Atlanta Golf & Social’s first venue in downtown Chamblee. This expansion reflects the growing popularity of indoor golf experiences and the continued development of Atlanta’s West End neighborhood.

Jeremy Williams, co-owner of Atlanta Golf & Social, expressed enthusiasm about the new location, stating, ‘Lee + White’s mixed-use development is a gathering place for the West End community, and that makes it a great fit for us. We’re excited to continue building that community through the game of golf – giving visitors to Lee + White an opportunity to improve their golf game, or simply relax and have some fun while enjoying an afternoon or evening at Lee + White.’

The addition of Atlanta Golf & Social to Lee + White is expected to complement the development’s existing array of restaurants, breweries, and retailers. Kelly Wilson of Ackerman Retail, who helped secure the lease, noted that this experiential sports concept would be a unique offering in the food hall, providing a new attraction for visitors and the surrounding community.

Lee + White has been steadily evolving into a diverse mixed-use destination. The food hall currently features 16 eateries and a central bar, offering a mix of local and regional culinary concepts. With the addition of Atlanta Golf & Social, only one 3,990-square-foot space remains available in the food hall.

The development is not only becoming an entertainment hub but also a growing business center. Recently, JTEC Energy Inc., a renewable energy company, expanded its headquarters and lab production space at Lee + White, further diversifying the tenant mix.

Atlanta Golf & Social’s concept revolves around providing a high-quality golf experience using Trackman, the premier simulator technology used by professional golfers worldwide. The venue aims to cater to the needs of modern golfers by offering convenience, quality, and value in a neighborhood-focused setting. During the day, it serves as a quiet space for golfers to practice or take lessons, while in the evenings, it transforms into a lively gathering spot for groups and parties.

This expansion is part of Atlanta Golf & Social’s growth strategy, as co-founders Greg Hall and Jeremy Williams look to bring their innovative golf experience to more neighborhoods across the greater Atlanta area. Their approach of blending golf with social elements in urban communities aligns well with the mixed-use nature of Lee + White.

The Lee + White development, formerly known as ‘Warehouse Row,’ spans 442,562 square feet and has been reimagined as a trendsetting adaptive reuse project. It has already established itself as a destination for food and beer enthusiasts, and its next phase of development aims to incorporate creative offices, retail spaces, and expanded BeltLine access. This transformation is being carried out with respect to the West End’s rich history.
