Atlanta-based law firm Krevolin & Horst (K&H) hires four new associates including Zamani Williams, Jack Cartwright, Taylor Cressler, and Anré Washington to bolster K&H’s expansive services as a boutique law firm. Learn more about our newest associates below.
Zamani Williams (Vanderbilt University; Emory University School of Law), Associate. Zamani joins our corporate team from an AmLaw Global 50 law firm in Boston, where she focused on mergers, acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, and other corporate matters across a broad range of industries. Additionally, she advised start-up and later-stage companies throughout their corporate life cycle. An Atlanta native, Zamani received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at Georgia State University and graduated from Emory Law School. While at Emory Law School, Zamani worked at Fox Television Stations as a legal extern.
Jack Cartwright (Hamilton College; University of Pennsylvania), Associate. Jack joins our litigation team from Winston & Strawn’s New York office where he was an associate and served as that firm’s Pro Bono Fellow at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Before that, Jack served as a law clerk on Senator Patrick J. Leahy’s Judiciary Committee staff and as a summer law clerk for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania in the chambers of the Honorable Judge Alice Beck Dubow. Jack also maintains a robust pro bono practice and received the Legal Aid Society’s Pro Bono Publico Award in 2021. Jack has experience working global cartel defense, health care merger reviews and challenges, white collar criminal defense, and securities litigation matters.
Taylor Cressler (Harvard University; University of Georgia Law), Associate. Prior to joining our litigation team, Taylor clerked for the Honorable Gerald Bard Tjoflat on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law where he was an Executive Editor of the Georgia Law Review, competed as a finalist in the Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence moot court competition, and coached two moot court teams to first and second place finishes. Between undergrad and law school, Taylor obtained first-hand experience in the customer service, gig economy, education, telecommunications, marketing, trucking, and entertainment industries in New York. He managed tens of millions of dollars in sales for the then largest exporter of goods from the United States, purchasing recycled paper for export to China and navigating a rapidly evolving regulatory and diplomatic landscape.
Anré Washington (Morehouse College; University of Georgia Law), Associate. Anré’s practice focuses on land use and zoning, commercial litigation, contract disputes, and general civil litigation. Anré has represented residential and commercial developers across multiple jurisdictions through various entitlement processes. Anré capitalizes on his longstanding relationships from serving in a range of public policy and key political staffing roles for invaluable strategic insight for his clients. As a commercial and civil litigator, Anré has represented various businesses through multiple disputes, including breach of contract, dissolution, real estate disputes, and other related matters.
Before law school, Anré was appointed as the youngest Executive Director of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, Campaign Manager for now Congresswoman Nikema Williams, and Traveling Chief of Staff for Jason Carter’s 2014 Campaign for Governor. Additionally, Anré advocated for bipartisan children’s policy and juvenile justice reform.
